Microsoft Certification – Is it for You?

Do you feel more secure when a certified mechanic works on your car?
Do your taxes get done by a professional certified Accountant?
If you are sick or injured, do you visit a certified, qualified Doctor?

If you answered “Yes” to any of these questions, its because you value service from someone you know is qualified and certified to do the job right. In the IT field that qualification comes in the form of Microsoft Certification. So if you want a qualified and certified professional giving you service in their field (Mechanic, Accountant, Doctor), wouldn’t an IT Company want to know that you are the best in your field and certified, qualified for the IT job/service. That is what Microsoft Certification does for you. It proves that you are among the "BEST" in your field and capable of doing the job or providing the service-competently.

You may think that Microsoft Certification is not important, and it is true. You can probably get a job anyway in the IT field without Certification, but when you do have Microsoft Certification, you have "PROOF" that you have the skills and the knowledge to work in the IT field on Microsoft Product/s. Today many IT Companies require Microsoft Certification as proof of your skills and competency. And in order to offer you a job they require you to be Microsoft Certified. Microsoft Certifications ensure that you are the first choice of IT Companies for jobs or the first choice for promotions if you are already employed.

What is Microsoft certification?

This is a recognition that Microsoft gives you which proves you have special skills to get the job done. Microsoft Certifications recognize and validate your real-world IT skills, and offer a life-long career path of IT skills development.

How do You Get Certified?

Actually Microsoft Certification is not that complicated, but it is tough. You have to learn / self-study for the required course through course books available at Bookstores / Online Bookstores, or join a Training Institute which provide Training and Certification Guidance courses. After the course is completed, you have to Register and appear for the Online Exam conducted by Prometric and VUE testing centers authorized by Microsoft to conduct the Exams. You need to prepare thoroughly for the Exam, because there is a fee for taking the Online Exam, and if you fail, well there goes your money.

Microsoft Certification assures your current/future employer or future clients that they have someone that really knows what they are doing, and it gives you self confidence in yourself and security - knowing that you are fully trained in Microsoft product/products.

Auto Finance – Should you opt for Car Loans?

In the modern world today, people have become very busy due to their busy schedules and traveling involved from home to work, shopping, dropping the kids off to school, meeting friends, etc. one place to another. Therefore people give more importance to the time saved in traveling. This is where the automobile comes in handy. But buying a car or a second car for the family is not always economically possible. This is where Auto Financing - Car Loans is very useful.

A few decades ago, a car was considered a luxury only the rich could afford. But as the Automobile companies prospered and expanded their production and reach, the Cars became cheaper and easier to acquire. Many Auto Companies, Banks, and private companies too came forward to provide Car Loans to people who still could not afford to buy Cars with a full payment for the purchase price. Auto financing was also useful in enticing people working on a fixed salary, or those who were hesitant in investing a big sum in purchasing an Automobile. People also bought cars to maintain/enhance their status in society, even if it meant opting for a Car Loan to buy a Car.

In the last decade or two, a car or even two or more cars for a family has become more of a necessity, rather than a status symbol. In this case opting for a Car Loan is not a bad idea if you really need the Car to make life easier for you and your family and it is really useful in solving day-to-day problems of traveling. You can either decide to buy a new or second hand car depending on your requirement and financial status. When you do decide to buy a car with Auto financing, just don’t rush off and select the first option that presents itself. Analyze the Car Loans market and the different offers made by the Auto Company, Banks, and Private companies for Auto Loans, and decide on the best option according to your paying capacity and finances.

Auto Financing is beneficial for the buyer (you), the seller (the Auto Company), and the financier (Auto Company, Bank, private finance company). But as in any business deal, everybody wants the best deal and the most money for themselves. Therefore, when you do opt for an Auto Loan, weigh the Pros and Cons, the advantages, disadvantages, savings, interest charged, down payment required, terms of financing, the period of loan, etc. You should also calculate how much you will have to pay on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis for financing the Car and whether you will be able to manage the payments comfortably.

If you have already bought a car on Auto Finance and your Credit rating with the financing company is good, getting a Car Loan for a second car becomes easier. But if you have defaulted on your Auto Loans, your Car Finance Company may reject your loan application for another Car. This is called Bad Credit in the industry. But you don’t have to be dejected and think that you will never be able to get another Car Loan. There are Private Car Finance and Auto Loan Companies that do provide a Second chance at Auto Loans, in spite of a Bad Credit rating.

Whether you need First time Auto Financing or a second chance at a Car Loan in spite of Bad Credit, you should be investigate all the options and avenues available and opt for the best in the market, while also looking at your financial abilities to pay back the loan.

As a result, a professional needs to update regularly, to keep their skill sets industry-relevant. To keep up with the changing requirements of the Software Development Industry, an IT professional/job-seeker should not only be aware of and gain knowledge of new products, but should also get Certified by the Industry Leaders on their products.

My First Blog

This is my First Blog and as i am in the Education and IT Training and Certification field, I can only think of posting something i have been really involved with every day for the past 8 years. I have been providing Microsoft Certification Training for Microsoft courses and technologies and have guided more than 200 students in achieving various Microsoft Certifications. In the early years there were many excellent students - hard working, smart, bright, and go-getters. But now, most of the students i get are just not up to mark. The level of college education has been going downhill for the past many years, but it is in the dumps now. More tomorrow.
